Care

Weekly Focus:

Self

Focused Learning Activity for the Week:

Weekly Foundational Text:  Please, Baby Please by Spike Lee and Tonya Lewis Lee: A behind the scenes look at the Chills, Spills, and thrills of bringing up baby.

Weekly Reflection:

-This book is about how adults care for a baby or young child. What are some of the things the adults do to care for a baby?

-Do your grown-ups ever ask you to do some of the things we saw in the book? Which ones? What are some of other things your grown-ups ask you to do?

-The baby looks really mad when the adult says it is time to go home. Sometimes we have different ideas than the people who take care of us. Can you think of a time when someone who was taking care of you wanted you to do something you didn't want to do? How did that make you feel?
